Writing

I have published in journals such as Frontiers in Political Science, Niin & Näin, Tiede & Edistys, Horisont, Astra, Finlands Natur and Ulkopolitiikka, written for the philosophical encyclopedia Logos and for scientific blogs such as the Research Association of Finland's blog and in the political science blog politiikasta.fi. I have also written for the biggest Swedish speaking newspaper in Finland, Hufvudstadsbladet, and coauthored a textbook on philosophy for use in upper secondary school teaching, published by Schildts & Söderströms. Please see the selected publications section for more information on my publications.

Over and above my own publishing activity I have also been a member of the editorial board of the cultural and political magazine Kontur, funded by the Kone Foundation and The Swedish Cultural Foundation, among others.

Teaching  

Between the years 2016-2021 I have taught the introductory course to social and political philosophy at the University of Helsinki yearly (under the subject of social and moral philosophy at the department of social sciences). This lecture course has been attended by 100+ students yearly.

During 2015 I taught philosophy at the upper secondary schools in Porvoo, Loviisa and Sipoo (in Swedish).

Speaking

In addition to speaking and presenting at scientific conferences and workshops, I have appeared on various radio programs at the Finnish Broadcasting Company, discussing such topics as science politics and local elections. I have also appeared in various podcasts and regularly speak at different cultural events.
